DCH Group has taken on a number of commitments related to the preparation of Kharkiv for Euro 2012.

DCH specialists, assisted by reputable foreign consultancies, have elaborated and partially implemented a complex programme aimed at reconstruction and the development of related sports, tourist, transport, social and cultural infrastructure facilities in the city.

DCH investment and effort will see the following facilities developed in Kharkiv by the time Euro 2012 is held:

  • a renovated Metallist Stadium (home ground of FC Metallist) which complies fully with UEFA requirements;
  • accommodation and leisure facilities for the city’s guests (Metallist City multifunctional sports and entertainment complex);
  • a new European-class airport;
  • a football academy to train new generations of high-class football players;
  • a modern sports base to accommodate the championship participants and fans.
