FC Metallist will have facilities for coaching
over
200 pupils in 8 different age groups for future sporting achievement. The academy will benefit from a high level of financial and technical support (including maintenance allowances). The project entails the construction of
9 football pitches with a total area of
15 thousand sq. m., as well as the development of a
4-storey boarding school (
2000 sq. m.), capable of accommodating
100 people feeding them and providing medical services.
During
Euro 2012 the academy territory can be turned into a fan-zone, and its pitches could host contests among fans. The academy boarding school has the potential to be transformed into a hotel for the representatives of mass media, and operating personnel of the Championships.
Aims of the Project Implementation:
- Popularization of a healthy lifestyle among young people by providing the right conditions for regular sports activities;
- Revival of the best traditions of the School of Olympic Reserve.
