OJSC Azot is one of the biggest companies in the Ukraine. It manufactures mineral fertilizers, ion-exchange resins, caprolactam, and other chemical products. In the Ukraine the company has total sales volumes as follows: 18.4% of the ammonia market; 21% of the carbamide market, 35.4% of ammonium nitrate market; 100% of the caprolactam and ion-exchange resins markets. OJSC Azot consists of over 40 production divisions located on a 500 hectare site. It employs over 4,000 people.
Production Capacity
At full capacity OJSC Azot can manufacture approximately 2 million tonnes of mineral fertilizers per year. The company produces a quarter of the Ukraine’s total volume of mineral fertilizers. The company works hard and sells its products successfully in Europe, Asia, and America. Thanks to the help of the Cherkassy chemists, farmers from Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, France, Ireland, Germany, and China maintain a high level of crop yield in cultivated soils.
