10.06.2010My dream is to have dream!

At the international Airforum in Kharkiv Business Travel magazine got an honor to have an exclusive interview with the general investor and coordinator of Kharkiv preparation for Euro 2012, DCH president, Aleksandr Yaroslavskyy.

- Mr. Yaroslavskyy, name the main characteristics of "Kharkiv" airport, that are the subject of personal pride.

- The main subject of personal pride for me - that Kharkiv, finally, will have a new modern airport.

- Do you have priority partner-investors?

- The best partner for me is me myself. Of course, I`m opened to cooperation, if it is really interesting project. But instead of the huge ship, where I`m a passenger, I would prefer a canoe, on which I`m the captain.

- What are the technical innovations used in the construction of FC Metalist stadium?

- First, the roof made of the ultramodern materials weighing 3.5 tons, which was created by Kharkiv builders. Secondly, multimedia displays and advertising firm line Barco. Thirdly, of course, spider-cam - we do not rent it, it is ours. Fourth, anti-vandal seats... In general, the list can be endless. But for me personally the innovation is not important – the continuity and atmosphere are important. We have kept the traditions, have introduced new features without destroying something that is dear to generations of Kharkiv. And instead of a trash we created a hot spot in a city where you can exercise, and just relax.

- Tell us about plans to build hotels in Kharkiv. Will you co-operate with well-known hotel chains during construction?

- I`ve already said - this will be the best hotel in the south-eastern Ukraine. Here in Kharkiv everything should be the best, because Kharkiv citizens deserve it. We are currently negotiating with leading hotel chains, and as soon as possible, we`ll tell the details. While I can say that it will be 150-170 rooms, and its construction will cost 70 million dollars. This will be the first hotel in Kharkiv, which would be originally built as a "five star" and which will become a pearl in a necklace of the largest square in Europe - Freedom Square.

- Your cherished dream....

- My dream is to have a dream:)) When the motion stops, the sunset starts. One should always move towards a new dream.
